Congressman Crank Cosponsors Multiple Pieces of Legislation During First Days in Congress

WASHINGTON – During his first days in the 119th Congress, Congressman Jeff Crank (CO-05) has cosponsored multiple pieces of legislation, including:

 

  • H.J.Res. 12 – Term Limit Constitutional Amendment — Constitutional amendment to limit careers in the Senate to 2 terms and careers in the House of Representatives to 3 terms.

     

  • H.R. 176 – No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act — Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to make inadmissible any individual who participated or facilitated the October 7th attack against Israel or is a member of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hamas, or the Palestinian Liberation Organization. The bill would also make ineligible for any immigration relief anyone who participated or at all facilitated the October 7th attack.

 

  • H.R. 174 – Consequences for Social Security Fraud Act — Amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to make inadmissible and deportable any illegal immigrant who has been convicted of, admits to committing, or has conspired to commit social security fraud or COVID relief fraud.

 

  • H.R. 163 – Finish the Wall Act — Directs the Secretary of Homeland Security to resume construction within 24 hours. Requires the Secretary to collect DNA records of adults apprehended illegally crossing the border.

 

  • H.R. 142 – REINS Act — Requires Congressional approval for agency rules with an economic impact of more than $100 million.

 

  • H.R. 38 – Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act — Allows people with state-issued concealed carry licenses or permits to conceal a handgun in any other state, as long as the permit holder follows the laws of that state. It also allows residents of Constitutional carry states the ability to carry in other states.

 

  • H.R. 28 - Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act — Amends Title IX to ban a person whose biological sex at birth was male from participating in a school’s athletic program or activity that is designated for females.

 

  • H.R. 273 – REMAIN in Mexico Act - Reinstates President Trump’s successful ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy which requires the return all migrants back to Mexico until their U.S. immigration court date.
