Congressman Jeff Crank Assigned to HASC Subcommittees

WASHINGTON - The House Armed Services announced their Subcommittee assignments for the 119th Congress. Congressman Jeff Crank (CO-05) has been assigned to the following: 

 

  • The Subcommittee on Strategic Forces
  • The Subcommittee on Military Personnel
  • The Subcommittee on Cyber, Information Technologies, and Innovation

 

In response, Congressman Crank has released the following statement: 

 

“We must ensure that President Trump has the tools he needs to bring order back to the world,” said Congressman Crank. “As a member of these subcommittees, I will fight to improve the quality of life for our troops, advance our space and nuclear defense, and oversee the rapidly advancing cyber battlefield.”

 

Background: 

 

  • The Subcommittee on Strategic Forces focuses on issues related to nuclear defense and non-proliferation, space operations, and strategic deterrence. 

     

  • The Subcommittee on Military Personnel addresses quality of life issues such as military health care and schools, recruitment and retention, pay and more. 

     

  • The Subcommittee on Cyber, Information Technologies, and Innovation oversees the emerging area of cyber warfighting including artificial intelligence, computer software, and cyber operations.
