Rep. Crank Issues Statement on the Government Shutdown

October 1, 2025

WASHINGTON - Today, Representative Jeff Crank (CO-05) has released the following statement after the United States government went into shutdown after Senate Democrats voted to block a clean, seven-week continuing resolution:

"House Republicans passed a clean, seven-week continuing resolution to keep the government open and fund critical services, including pay for our troops, veteran services, law enforcement, and border patrol," said Rep. Crank. "Senate Democrats blocked the measure and shut the government down. I urge them to put partisanship aside and support the clean CR to keep the government open and finalize a full-year spending plan.”
