Rep. Crank Votes to Advance Reconciliation 3.0 Process

July 22, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Today, Representative Jeff Crank (CO-05) voted in favor of the FY27 Budget Resolution, taking the first step toward advancing the SAVE and Protect America Act through the budget reconciliation process.

The budget resolution provides the framework needed for Congress to advance legislation that strengthens our national defense, secures our elections, and supports America’s farmers and ranchers.

"By starting the Budget Reconciliation process, Congressional Republicans are gearing up for the SAVE and Protect America Act," said Rep. Crank. "This bill will secure our elections through voter ID requirements, secure our troops by giving them the resources they need to stay ahead of our adversaries, and support the farmers who keep food on Americans’ tables.”

Background:

  • The resolution contains $95 billion:
    • $10 billion to secure our federal elections with critical integrity measures included in the SAVE America Act.
    • $60 billion to provide funding for operational costs, military pay and readiness, and munitions investment, to support our service members and ensure the U.S. military remains the most lethal fighting force across the globe.
    • $13 billion to fund intelligence-related activities to protect our nation.
    • $12 billion to provide economic assistance for American farmers and food producers to ensure our nation’s food supply remains secure and affordable.
