Rep. Crank Votes (Again) to Fund the Government, Pay our Troops and Federal Workforce

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Representative Jeff Crank (CO-05) released the following statement after voting to fund the government: 

"After weeks of the Senate minority holding the government hostage, we were finally able to make progress on reopening the federal government," said Rep. Crank. "The Democrats owned this shutdown, and there is no denying it. It is a shame that they chose their own partisan games over paying our troops and the federal workforce. Colorado's Fifth Congressional District and Americans across the nation suffered due to their inaction to fund the government, and as a result, essential programs ran dry. 

"Thankfully, the Continuing Resolution now heads to President Trump's desk, and we will have a government that is once again open and accessible for the American people."
