WASHINGTON – As first reported by E&E News, Rep. Jeff Crank (CO-05) sent a letter to the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations requesting that Congressional leaders include conditions in any legislation responding to the recent California wildfires.
Excerpts from the letter read:
WASHINGTON – Rep. Jeff Crank (CO-05) has been appointed by Speaker Mike Johnson to serve on the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors. In response, the Congressman has released the following statement:
“The Air Force Academy develops future leaders in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force,” said Rep. Jeff Crank. “I am honored that Speaker Johnson has appointed me to serve on the Board of Visitors, and I look forward to working with the Board to advance the Academy’s continued success.”
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman Jeff Crank (CO-05) voted in favor of the Fix Our Forests Act, which passed the House. In response, the Congressman has released the following statement:
“Colorado Springs is no stranger to wildfires,” said Rep. Crank. “Pikes Peak is still recovering from the Hayman Fire which killed five firefighters, one civilian, and destroyed over 100 homes. The Fix our Forests Act will cut through environmental red tape to make it easier for forest managers to conduct fire prevention activities.”
